Creative Canvas Activity – Std. VI & Std. VII

Mitra Academy held a Creative Canvas Activity, as part of its Environment Day celebrations on Friday, 5th June 2026. The activity was organised for students of Grades VI and VII. Over 400 students participated by forming groups and studying up on endangered species and their natural habitats, the threats they continue to face, and strategies for their conservation. The process combined hands-on creativity like drawings, paintings and mixed-media collage with environmental learning ensuring students thought about the fine natural balance of biodiversity while practising art. The students displayed enthusiastic participation, creative use of mixed media, and thoughtful meditation on the immediate ecological concerns.
