Welcome Back Special Assembly – Std I to Std. V

Mitra Academy ushered in the academic year 2026–27 with a vibrant and heartwarming Welcome Back Assembly held on Wednesday, June 03, 2026 at the ARA Memorial Hall. Organised by the Upper Primary teachers, the assembly set an enthusiastic and positive tone for the year ahead. The assembly commenced with the School Prayer and Hymn, followed by the Thought for the Day, news highlights, updates from Mitra, weather report and a collection of interesting facts that captured the students’ attention. Principal Vani Ma’am addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to embrace the new academic year with confidence, determination and a passion for learning. Ma’am also introduced the new teachers and class teachers, helping students feel comfortable, connected, and warmly welcomed into the school community. Headmistress Annette Ma’am warmly welcomed the students and motivated them to remain cheerful, responsible, and disciplined throughout the year. Adding colour and excitement to the occasion, the teachers presented an engaging puppet show that beautifully conveyed the value of kindness. A cheerful welcome song and an energetic dance performance by the teachers brought smiles to the students and created a joyful atmosphere. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving students motivated, inspired, and eager to embark on a successful and enriching academic journey.
