“Turning pages, Spreading wings”- Bookmark Making Activity – Std. I & Std. II

The “Turning Pages, Spreading Wings” Bookmark Making Activity was organised for the students of Std. I and Std. II on Wednesday, June 03, 2026, in their respective classrooms as a special activity to welcome them back to school. The session began with a demonstration video prepared by the Art Teacher which guided students through the steps of creating a butterfly bookmark. The class teachers then distributed the materials and provided support throughout the activity. The children enthusiastically followed the instructions and created colourful butterfly bookmarks, showcasing their creativity and imagination. The activity provided an enjoyable and engaging learning experience while helping students develop fine motor skills, concentration and artistic expression. It served as a meaningful way to welcome students back to school, creating a cheerful atmosphere and fostering excitement for the new academic year. The children participated actively, interacted joyfully with their peers, and displayed great enthusiasm throughout the session.
