Std. I – Class Picnic to “The Big Barn Farm”

The gentle, soothing sounds of nature made the picnic truly delightful. On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Class I students went on a picnic to The Big Barn Farm. Upon arrival, the children excitedly explored the farm’s natural beauty and abundance.They enthusiastically participated in a variety of engaging activities, including a visit to the plant nursery. The animal petting area was the highlight of the trip as the students were thrilled to visit Go Shala, feed the fish and cattle and observed sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys and many other animals. The students also enjoyed a fun buggy ride and spent time playing on the swings, merry-go-round and slides. A refreshing nature walk further added to their excitement. These activities helped enhance their gross motor skills and encouraged teamwork. After lunch, a lively dance session was organized in which the teachers joined the children, making the atmosphere even more energetic and joyful. The visit was both educational and memorable, inspiring the students to care for the environment and maintain cleanliness in their surroundings. It also provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendships and everyone returned to school with joyful hearts and cherished memories.
