National Road Safety Assembly – Std. V

The National Road Safety Mission is an initiative aimed at ensuring safer roads for the future. In this regard, the students of classes VE and VF conducted a special assembly with great enthusiasm. The objective of the assembly was to create awareness about traffic rules and promote responsible behaviour on the roads. The programme included the Thought for the Day, news reading, a theme-based talk on road safety rules, a melodious song, a skit depicting the consequences of reckless driving and a Hindi poem. The teacher’s address emphasised the importance of adopting safety as a life-saving habit. The assembly concluded with a pledge taken by the students to follow road safety rules. Overall, the assembly was informative, meaningful and impactful.
