‘Symbol of Unity’ Tricolour Flag Making Activity – Pre-KG

The ‘Symbol of Unity’ Tricolour Flag Making Activity introduced children to the Indian National Flag and its three colours saffron, white and green, along with the Ashoka Chakra. Using pre-cut strips and an indigo circle, children assembled their own flags under teacher guidance, pasting the colours in order and drawing the spokes of the Chakra. Through this hands-on activity, children learned to recognise the tricolour while developing fine motor skills and creative expression. Each flag was personalised with the child’s name and taken home as a proud and meaningful keepsake.
