SpellBound Challenge Competition – Std. I & Std. II
A SpellBound Competition was successfully conducted for the Lower Primary section on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 with the aim of enhancing students’ spelling skills, vocabulary, and confidence. Students participated actively and completed a worksheet-based spelling activity in their classrooms, where they were assessed on spelling accuracy, word recognition and dictation. The competition aimed to develop language proficiency, listening skills and correct word usage among young learners. Students’ performance was evaluated based on accuracy and overall performance. In the event of a tie, the number of correctly spelled words in the dictation round was considered. The competition helped students learn new words with confidence and the best three performers from each section were selected. Overall, the competition was a great success and encouraged students to develop a love for words and spelling.
