Kannada Rajyotsava and Kanakadasa Special Assembly – Std. III to V

Mitra Academy celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm on November 3, 2025, through a special assembly organized for the Upper Primary Section, commemorating the formation of the state of Karnataka.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer, followed by a thought for the day highlighting the significance of Kannada Rajyotsava. Students presented a melodious Kannada song and a graceful dance performance, beautifully portraying the rich culture and heritage of Karnataka. A teacher encouraged students to converse in Kannada in their daily lives, thereby fostering love and respect for the language.
A skit depicting the unity and pride of being Kannadigas added depth and meaning to the celebration. The Principal, in her address, motivated students to uphold and promote the Kannada language with pride and sincerity.
The celebration concluded with the rendition of the State Anthem, filling everyone’s hearts with immense joy and pride. The Rajyotsava Assembly served as a meaningful reminder of our cultural roots and the importance of preserving our mother tongue.
