Gandhi Jayanthi Assembly – Std. I & Std. II

Students of the Lower Primary section conducted a special assembly for Gandhi Jayanti on Friday, 26th September 2025. The theme was “Walk with Truth: Gandhiji’s Way.” The assembly began with the significance of the day followed by a ‘Thought for the Day’ quoting Gandhiji: “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Students shared interesting facts about Gandhiji’s life, highlighting his principles of truth, non-violence, simplicity and cleanliness. A skit titled “If Gandhiji Was Alive Today” was performed with slides depicting contemporary issues such as floods, pollution, accidents and the Pahalgam attacks. Children enacted how Gandhiji would solve these problems through peace, discipline, cleanliness and respect for nature. The assembly concluded with an inspiring talk by the teacher, motivating students to follow Gandhiji’s values. The assembly was meaningful, engaging and left students motivated to walk on Gandhiji’s path.
