Drop Everything and Read Activity – Std. I & Std. II

“Drop Everything and Read” (DEAR) activity was conducted for the Lower Primary students on Thursday, September 03, 2025 with the objective of fostering a love for reading among young children. The activity created a joyful atmosphere where every child experienced the pleasure of independent and shared reading. Students were seen exchanging books with their friends and talking excitedly about their favourite characters and stories. Teachers highlighted how Reading not only builds imagination, creativity, and vocabulary but also develops a lifelong habit of learning. The “Drop Everything and Read” initiative was a resounding success. It not only motivated students to read for enjoyment but also instilled in them the value of making reading a part of their everyday routine. The activity truly reinforced the school’s commitment to nurturing confident, curious, and enthusiastic readers.
