Art of Storytelling – Activity – Std. I & Std. II

A Story Telling Activity to develop listening, speaking, and imaginative skills among students was conducted for Lower Primary students on Wednesday, September 03, 2025. Children narrated a variety of stories, ranging from moral tales to folk stories, using expressive voice, gestures, and simple props. The young storytellers confidently presented their stories, making them lively and engaging. Some students used flashcards, puppets, and illustrations to make their narration more interesting. The activity not only encouraged creativity but also helped students improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, and public speaking skills. Teachers appreciated the efforts of the participants and highlighted the importance of storytelling in building confidence, communication skills, and moral values. The event was both enjoyable and educational, leaving the children motivated to explore more stories.
