National Doctor’s Day Assembly – Std. I & II

The students of the Lower Primary section conducted a special assembly on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day on Tuesday, July 01, 2025. The aim of the assembly was to help young learners understand the role of doctors in our lives and to express gratitude for the care and dedication shown by medical professionals. The assembly began with the prayer, followed by a positive thought for the day. A short and meaningful speech was delivered by a student from Std.I, setting the tone for the event. This was followed by a group song titled “Thank You, Doctor”, through which the students expressed their appreciation through music. A cute and lively role play added charm and energy to the celebration. A theme talk was delivered by Ms.Amrapali on the importance of National Doctors’ Day in India. She informed students that the special day is celebrated to honour the legendary doctor, the Second Chief Minister of West Bengal and Bharat Ratna Awardee, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. The assembly concluded with the students saluting the frontline warriors followed by the National Anthem.
