Kites to Bonfires Activity – Std. I & Std. II

Makar Sankranti, a vibrant festival celebrated on January 14 every year, is observed with great enthusiasm across the nation. It is a day to express gratitude to everyone involved in bringing the harvest to our tables. The celebration often includes flying kites and preparing festive sweets.
To mark the occasion, a ‘Kites to Bonfire’ activity was conducted on Monday, January 13, 2025, for the students of Std I and Std II. Teachers distributed colourful A4 sheets and demonstrated the activity. The students eagerly participated, creating and designing their own vibrant kites to showcase their creativity. The activity filled the room with joy and the students’ excitement was truly unmatched, leaving smiles on every face.
