Kisan Diwas Assembly – Std. I & II

Celebrating farmer’s day plays a crucial role in spreading awareness among children about the importance of the farmers in our daily lives. India observes National Farmers Day on December 23 to celebrate the birth anniversary of the fifth Prime Minister of India, Choudhary Charan Singh.
Farmers are the backbone of our country and the food we consume is a result of their tireless efforts. Through this celebration students were able to recognise the dedication and hard work of farmers in our daily lives. To emphasize these values, a Kisan Diwas assembly was conducted on Friday, December 20, 2024. The assembly began with a Thought for the day, followed by a few facts about Kisan Diwas followed by a song on Farmers and a theme talk. A melodious song dedicated to farmers and a meaningful theme talk further enriched the program. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
