Grandparents’ Day & Onam Celebration – KG

In a joyous celebration of love, tradition and heritage, Mitra Kinderworld commemorated Grandparents’ Day alongside the vibrant festival of Onam. The event honoured the important role grandparents play in shaping young lives, while embracing the cultural richness of Onam. Grandparents were given a warm and heartfelt welcome, complete with traditional treats of elaichi and mishri, as well as honorary badges. A Photo Booth captured these precious moments, preserving the bond between generations. Interactive activities, including games and performances, further strengthened these connections. Teachers took the opportunity to highlight the significance of both occasions, reflecting on the profound influence grandparents have on their grandchildren, and sharing the cultural importance of Onam. The school was transformed into a vibrant haven, adorned with fresh flowers, a stunning floral carpet, and a symbolic lamp at the entrance, all contributing to the festive atmosphere. This memorable event was a beautiful celebration of family, tradition, and love, forever etching the importance of grandparents in the hearts of our young ones.
