Doctor’s Day – Std. III to V

India celebrates 1st July as National Doctors Day commemorating the iconic and internationally renowned medical practitioner, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy who served as a physician, a freedom fighter, an educationist and a politician. We salute doctors for their commitment to keep the nation safe and healthy. Their dedication towards their duties is truly exceptional.
To recognise the contributions of doctors to individual lives and communities, the students of the Upper Primary section celebrated National Doctors Day on Monday, July 01, 2024. The programme commenced with the School Prayer, the School Hymn, an inspiring thought, news, weather report followed by a theme talk on National Doctor’s Day. This assembly helped the students understand the role, importance and responsibilities of doctors. It also provided us an opportunity to recognize the contributions of physicians and reminded us to thank our doctors for their selfless services.
