Kisan Diwas – M&H

The students of Std VII D of Mitra Academy conducted a special assembly on Kisaan Diwas to honour the birth anniversary of Choudhary Charan Singh , the 5th Prime Minister of India.He was remembered for his exemplary contribution in demanding , campaigning and acquiring farmers’ rights.
The assembly comprised news , and amazing facts along with a thought provoking skit that highlighted the plight of the farmers and the policies designed for their assistance.It was followed by a speech by teacher, Ms Pavanakshi, emphasizing the need to exercise the concept of dignity of labour.
It was an informative session with an enriching learning experience for the students.
