Christmas Special Assembly – LP

Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Christmas celebration was held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 by the students of the Lower Primary section. The assembly began with information about Christmas and why it is celebrated. The assembly began with the prayer followed by thought for the day that signified Christmas as the gift of sharing joy. The students presented a skit which emphasized that ‘Jesus is the Reason for the Season.’ The school echoed with Christmas carols and holy hymns sung melodiously by the school choir ushering in the festive season. It was followed by a dance performance on a famous song – We Wish you a Merry Christmas, whose beats reverberated in the entire auditorium. The children were filled with joy and excitement as Santa came dancing to the tune of Jingle Bells. It was followed by a teacher’s talk. The importance of celebrating Christmas was explained effectively through the teacher’s talk. The entire flow of the on-stage events was given a closure with the vote of thanks. The audience was enthralled with each performance and gained the values of joy and sharing.
