National Pollution Control Day – UP

The National Pollution Control Day is celebrated every year on the 2nd of December in India in order to honour and memorialise the thousands of human beings who had lost their existence because of the Bhopal gas calamity.
National Pollution Control Day was celebrated in Mitra Academy on Friday, December 01, 2023 in the ARA Hall for the students of the Upper Primary section. The aim of this assembly was to make the students understand the significance of this day, to spread awareness about reducing and saving people from the dangerous effects of pollution. The assembly commenced with the school prayer, an inspiring thought, news, video on Bhopal gas tragedy. The teacher incharge gave a talk on the significance and importance of National Pollution Control Day. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
