Kannada Rajyotsava – Special Assembly – UP

Kannada Rajyotsava, also known as Karnataka Formation Day or Karnataka Day, celebrated on 1st November of every year. This day in 1956, all the Kannada language speaking regions of South Western India, were merged to form the state of Karnataka. To create awareness about the culture and heritage of Karnataka, the students of the Upper Primary section, conducted a special assembly on November 02, 2023. The aim of the assembly was to make the students understand the importance of Kannada Rajyotsava among people and highlight the importance of the rich language of our state. The importance of Kannada Rajyotsava was explained to the students by a theme talk. The students also presented the thought for the day , news and songs in Kannada. The assembly concluded with the State Anthem and the National Anthem.
