Eid Ul Adha Special Assembly – UP

The festival of Eid symbolizes faith, obedience, devotion, unity, sacrifice, and gratitude. To spread this message, the students of the Upper Primary section conducted a Special Assembly on Eid with great fervor and zeal on Monday, June 26, 2023 in the ARA Memorial Hall. Welcoming all, the compere commenced the programme by enlightening the significance of celebrating the festival of Eid, followed by ‘Eid Mubarak’ song to spread the message of love and happiness leaving the audience mesmerized.
A festive aura was created and students performed an action song to depict the spirit of celebration specifying the importance of Eid-al-Adha. The finishing touch to the program was a video clipping of a song on charity, the soulful audio filled the atmosphere with compassion and spirituality. The students and teachers enjoyed the assembly and they developed a sense of appreciation and respect for different traditions. The values of respect for diversity, compassion, sharing, brotherhood and the true spirit of religious tolerance also got reinforced amongst the receptive little audience.
To embark on the significance and traditions of this cherished festival, a ‘Eid Mubarak Card Making Activity’ was held for the students and they wrote a heartfelt Eid greeting wishing their loved ones a message of love, happiness and blessings.
