Teachers Day Special Assembly- Std. I & II

We celebrate Teachers’ Day across the country every year on September 5th, honoring the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. To mark this occasion, the students of Std I and II conducted a special assembly with great zeal and enthusiasm on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The school atmosphere was abuzz with excitement, creating a contagious sense of anticipation.
The assembly began with a “Thought for the Day,” followed by an explanation of the day’s significance, a few interesting facts, a song, and a skit that illustrated the reason for celebrating Teachers’ Day. The students enjoyed the song and were later treated to an excellent dance performance. They also participated in card-making and scrapbook activities, which provided a platform for showcasing their creativity. The decorations and celebrations filled the air with joy.
