‘Ready2Read Challenge Competition’ – LP

The importance of reading cannot be underestimated, as reading stretches the child’s mind and introduces him/her to a world of wonder that is literature. In order to enable the reading skills and confidence amongst the students a ‘Ready 2 Read Challenge’ was organised for the students of Std.I and Std.II on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Reading is one of the best brain exercise. This competition was conducted in a very interesting way, where each child was given an opportunity to read a different passage. The children realised that the stories offered many facets. That of suspense, entertainment and information and they were filled with a new curiosity. They read out their stories with clear articulation, correct accentuation and voice modulation. They found it to be very interesting and read the passage with a lot of interest and confidence.
