‘Kannada Rajyotsava Special Assembly’ – LP

Kannada Rajyotsava is celebrated on November 1st every year, it is also known as Karnataka Formation day or Karnataka day. On this day, Kannadigas wear traditional clothes and also hoist their State Flag which is the combination of Yellow and Red colour. People also sing the Kannada Anthem, “Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujate”. In Mitra, the 68th Kannada Rajyotsava celebration was held on Thursday, November 02, 2023 as a special assembly in ARA Hall for all the sections of Std.I and Std.II. The assembly began with the prayer to seek the blessings of the lord, followed by briefing of the programme and its purpose. Students read the ‘Thought for the Day’, shared some amazing facts about Karnataka, sang a song to praise the beautiful language of this land, danced on the lyrics describing the beauty of Karnataka followed by teachers’ talk. Children, both participants and the audience enjoyed the Assembly, as every part of it was well conducted only in ‘Namma Kannada Bashe’. The assembly ended with the Naada Geethe.
